In the event of loss of BT’s telecommunications facilities the company has a number of resources to call upon. BT has in excess of 6000 operational buildings, each of which has its own detailed Site-Specific Restoration Plan. We have 800 pre-trained managers who have specific roles during an incident. Their roles vary from Strategic Emergency Control Manager, Incident Manager and Forward Control Manager (i.e. similar to Gold, Silver and Bronze) and are backed by our specialist team of experienced Emergency Planners. |
